We love Flower Friday with
the DB Boyz and Angel Dory!
Our flowers have been suffering with the heat
so we told mom she could share some more photos
from their trip last week
The first leg of the trip was
from Pocatello, Idaho to Great Falls, Montana
Great Falls is right on the Missouri River.
Dad took some pictures before they left the next morning.
The next leg of the trip was two lane highway and there were a lot of historical landmarks to stop and see
this scenic stop was just before Fort Benton, MT.
More gorgeous views of the river
This stop was a great outlook.
This is where Lewis and Clark stopped and were trying to decide which river to follow to make their way west
You literally could see forever!
We were somewhat surprised that the upper part of Montana we went through was so wide open.
We passed endless grain fields and that continued when we crossed the border into Canada.
Of course the best part of the trip was spending some time with our grandson and watching him play baseball.
The people of Swift Current, SK were so very friendly
and helped make our visit even more fun.

Dearest Huggie Puggies...some day I will probably be forced to let my peeps head out to Idaho and Montana and Wyoming....but first they must complete a prior approval form which is on 87 legal size documents then submit it to me.
ReplyDeleteIf they get approval of course they will come see you all too

PS these photos are so pretty!!
ReplyDeleteThose are some great views for sure! We liked the bridge reflected in the river.
ReplyDeleteWow -such gorgeous views! We have heard that the Montana sky is amazing to see. It sure is pretty!

ReplyDeleteI give the bridge shot a vote up too! But all are wonderful and give a great feel for the area. Meanwhile, pug-darlings, overhere it is 'overwatering' which is causing trubs to the flowers!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Those pictures are so beautiful. Looks like a great vacation spot.
ReplyDeleteOur auntie is in Montana at the moment....she's seeing a lot of smoke. Great pictures. So easy to see why it's Big Sky country.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful scenery your pawrents saw!!

Our country is truly beautiful and I love your photos!
ReplyDeleteWow, what views!
ReplyDeleteOur Mom has never been to your part of the country so it is very enjoyable to see the beautiful photos. One day she needs to get Dad on a road trip and see all the sights for themselves (and maybe find some room in there for us to come too).

I am sorry about your flowers. Thank you for sharing your fantastic vacation photos
ReplyDeleteWhat a great trip. My human grandpa is from the Flathead Lake area of Montana, such a beautiful state. Safe travels!

Such lovely images. Looks like you had a great time seeing Big Sky country and well as the grandson's baseball games.
ReplyDeleteOur stuff is really suffering from the heat, too - and lack of rain!
ReplyDeleteWe love your photos! Those last two look like they could be from here in Kansas!
Yours sincerely,
