This fall I took a class called
Focus, Fun and Tricks
AKC is now offering a "Trick" title.
There is a list of tricks to choose from for each level
Novice, Intermediate and Advanced
At the end of our six week class we took the test for the Novice Trick Title
You must do 10 tricks from the list
for the Novice level
if you have the Canine Good Citizen Title on record
that counts as five tricks!
I have my CGC title so I picked five more tricks to do
I did "get in a box"
and "get on a box"
I went over a jump
and
through a tunnel
and
I also did a spin on command
My Title Certificate came in the mail on Saturday
Now my official name is
Maybe She's Mabelene BN RN CGC TKN

OMD, that's such a long name for a little pup! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteGosh Mabel, I am so impressed. Ten tricks! And all those letters after your name too.
ReplyDeleteBut I spot a seesaw in one of the pictures, and am wondering if you have mastered that yet? (Full disclosure here, when I did agility, the jumps and tunnel came quite naturally but the seesaw was SCARY and it took me ages to gain the courage to go right over it).
Toodle pip!
Bertie.
WTG MABEL!!
ReplyDeleteMy mom cannot walk and chew gum at the same time.
YOU ARE A TRICKY HUGGY PUGGY NOW AND WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU!!!
Hugs madi your bfff
Congratulations! Good job! I only know a few tricks. I can make funny faces and bark when I see the camera. When I see my Jason human, I bark at him to remind him he's supposed to take me for a walk whenever he visits. When ghostwriter says I have dirty feet, I run upstairs and jump into the bathtub. Let's see, that's 3 tricks. Hmmm … oh yeah, when ghostwriter has her last snack of the night I run around and bark because it's time for me to go out before I go to bed. I can sit and wait for Ryan to give me a treat. OK do I get a prize?
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Great work. We hope there were lots of treats to go with those tricks.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats, Mabel - we are guessing you can do even more than those tricks!!! We love your full name:)

Woo-hoo...Way to go, clever girl! P.S. Love your howliday header. It's very festive and you guys look adorable. No doubt Santa will be very good to you.🎅🏻
ReplyDeleteThat is SO cool. Way to go, Mabel! I'm going to look into that for Shyla. We found a program that certifies obedience work via video so poor Shyla doesn't have to go into a big scary ring. I just submitted a video for her first level so she might have letters after her name too in the near future.
ReplyDeleteCongrats!!!!!
Congrats on your new certificate, Mabel! Looks like you practiced those tricks and got them down pat. Love that you're sitting on a Chewy box, of all things. We have LOTS of those laying around at our house, too.
