Today we really wanted to join in Flower Friday
with Arty, Rosy and Jakey
because
Mom's mums finally bloomed!!!
There used to be other colors but as years have gone by all but two of the mums have died off.
The two that are left happen to be the same color
It collapsed in the middle!
and still has buds on the top waiting to bloom
Do you see the darker area in the middle
with a dark pink spot??
There is a bloom hiding!
Our weather is steadily turning winter like
so we hope it can finish blooming.
In other news...
Our esteemed (and very handsome) Mayor Arty
has designated November 23rd as the
3rd Annual Thanks Blogville Day!
Do a post telling everyone why you are thankful for Blogville
This will be a blog hop hosted by Da DB Boyz
We sure hope you will join us!
We are the PugRanch Kids
Hazel & Mabel
We think your mums are gorgeous. SHE knows all about plants dying....
ReplyDeleteOhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh my huggy puggies what a beautiful shade of pink on the lovely mums.
ReplyDeleteWe have nuttin' blooming here. We had mums but they are so very short lived.
There will be folks here in shorts and sandals too. Crazy is what we call them.
Hugs madi and mom
Our flowers are all gone now, so it's nice to see yours!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful mums - the color is just so delicate and pretty. Mom has never had any luck with planting mums. They never came back the next year. The mums in our area weren't too happy with the burst of cold temps that hit us. They didn't last long at all.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
That is a huge mum. We had near zero wind chills here and record lows are expected tonight so there are no flowers blooming around here.

We have always heard about these pink mums and how hardy they are but we never seen any in our travels. THANK YOU! Your pinks mums are just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your flowers while they last.
ReplyDeleteThose are beautiful Mums! Ours got zapped by the cold weather already.
ReplyDeleteCammie!
OMD! I love your mums. I have tried countless times to grow them but never fail to kill them within a few days! LOL! We will be thankful for Blogville this year too.
ReplyDeleteGosh, your mums are exquisite! Love them this time of year. Hopefully you'll get to the whole plant fully bloomed. Stay warm and have a good weekend. We're working on our 'thankful' list post. We have so much for which to be grateful.
ReplyDeleteGood decision by our mayor! We still have some flowers here too. Actually, the weather is pretty nice and mom's peas are still growing!
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
I love your mums! It is really winter here so I am guessing that you are at lower elevation than we are. I wish that I still had flowers like yours!
