Wow, your mom did a super job on the new curtains.Green is a favorite color of my ma's too.We have those hanging vertical blinds and think her idea makes a great addition to making them not so blah.Hope the rock chuck has found a new home off your property.xo Astro
We love your mom's new curtains and the Puggie plates! Your rock chucks sound very similar to our woodchucks, who eat way too many of our pretty plants and flowers.
Hari OMOOOHHH I too am a little envious of those curtain drops!!! I have no skillz in the sewing department...sigh... I've given up on hopes of spring; I think we'll go from winter straight into summer and it will happen all of a sudden one day in May. You heard it here first... Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
We've heard of a woodchuck, but never a rockchuck!
Your mom did a great job on those curtains. We hope Mr. Rock Chuck stays away from your house.
What beautmous new curtains!! Your Mama sure is talented!! Thanks for the interesting Rock Chuck information...these guys sound pretty destructive!xoxo,Arty, Rosy & Jakey
Yellow-bellied Marmot molmol that sounds like a birdie name. We have a yellow rumped warbler here. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH MY CATS MOM IS SQUEALING WITH DELIGHT AT YOUR MOM'S NEW KITCHEN CURTAINS. They are beautiful and the style Oh my and they are lined and we love the little buttons on the fabric that makeup the scalloping.well done Linda!!!hugs madi and mom
That marmot looks like the woodchuck Joey dog and I cornered in our yard several years ago. He was not very friendly, that's for sure! But I haven't seen him since. Ghostwriter used to do a lot of sewing, so she appreciates the amount of work that goes in to making things like curtains. They look great!
We love your new curtains. Mom has been looking for a nice valance for our half bathroom on the first floor and for the master bathroom. Yours would be the perfect style. So is that rock chuck as much of a pest as those darn squirrels we have here? Those tunnels they make make us think they are like moles.Woos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Thanks for telling us about the rock chucks. I was one of those people wondering about them. I thought that they looked like Marmots, which we have too. They are feisty rodents. One bit R on the nose years ago!I LOVE the curtains. Your mom is such a talented person!
I was also curious about those critters! I saw our first groundhog (marmet) on our property in several years. It's welcome here, as long as it keeps its distance from the house. And, add me to list of those who love those curtains - The style and color are my favorites! I can't sew and really admire those with the talent who can! They're perfect!I hope your weekend is perfect too! :-)
I love the double layer with the white underneath the gingham. Your Mom did a pawsome job. I bet rock chucks cause hazardous conditions in the fields for horses that are running, the same as ground chucks. And more snow? Really? Aghh!
I thought you had made rock chuck up? Cool facts. The curtains look lovely
He sure is cute buts if he is gonna cause any ruckus best he move on fur sure!!We love your Mom's new curtains they are so pretty!!xoxo,Matt & Matilda
Rock Chucks must be kin to our moles! They used to dig tunnels all over our backyard and drive Pierre crazy. I’m glad we don’t have any in our new yard. I LOVE your curtains!!!
Wow, we've never heard of Rock Chucks! I could sit and stare at one of those guys all day!Your mom's curtains came out so nice! Our mom has made curtains, but hers are very plain. She knows how much work and talent it took for your mom to make yours!Yours sincerely,Margaret Thatcher
