Spring has really sprung
here at the PugRanch
Several years ago Mom & Dad planted this tree.
It had trailing limbs
with delicate pink flowers
To their surprise as the tree grew
the new branches had different leaves
And now delicate white flowers
So it is now a double decker
pink and white tree!
Our big snow crab tree is just about ready
to burst into bloom!!!
We should be able to share that with you next week
when we join
Flower Friday
We are the PugRanch Kids

That tree is so very cool. Different leaves and blossoms on the new growth than on the original tree. It does sound like you have a two for one all in one tree!
ReplyDeleteA double decker tree. Wow, that is most fascinating. And pretty.
ReplyDeleteHello kind friends! I have so missed having the chance to stop by your blog, and am glad I have the chance this morning. I love your "double-decker-tree" that is apparently confused like Mother Nature has been about spring! :-) But I had roses that bloomed different colors once, but have never seen a tree, that's crazy!
ReplyDeleteI do hope all is well with you all, and hope you have a good weekend!
What an interesting tree you have. It is one of a kind!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful tree! I have tried in vain to plant trees over the years and failed each time. LOL!
ReplyDeleteCrabapple trees are glorious-one of my favorite flowering trees! Your tree is just plain gorgeous.
ReplyDeletemy Mom planted those at every home we lived in. Yours is gorgeous, I just love those trees. Your view is breathtaking too! DakotasDen

So beautiful. You are lucky to have such a beautiful tree.
ReplyDeleteThat tree doesn't seem to be able to make up its mind what it is...or maybe is trying to please everyone. Kinda like some folks.
ReplyDeleteThat's crazy fun when a tree blows it's graft and wants to be true to it's roots!
ReplyDeleteI love to see your trees all bursting in bloom!
