Flower Friday?

We have shattered the record of consecutive days
with temps in the 90"s here at the PugRanch
and it has taken a toll on the flowers.

Mom did catch these pictures of the sunset the other night.
We have smokey skies due to wild fires to the west and north (nothing close to us) and to the naked eye the sun looked fiery red. Unfortunately the red did not come through on the photos but we still thought the pictures were really cool!

Enjoy!

Thanks Rosy and the LLB boyz for hosting Flower Friday!

  1. Bertie thinks they are cool photos, but for Gail they bring back bad memories of the wildfires in the Washington/Idaho/Montana region which caused problems on her cycling holiday last year!

  3. Oh we think they photos are prize winners. VEry good capture and purrfect for today....Rosy says anything beautimous in our area is excellent for F.F.
I sure do wish we could share our rain with those in need. My daughter told us on Sunday they had 10" of rain the week before and expected more this week. We've had over an inch since last night here .
    Hugs madi and mom

  4. Those are really great photos! Too bad it's so hot where you are. (We've had some hot days too, but not so many in a row.) Hope it cools off soon.

  5. We hope all that smoke doesn't cause any breathing problems there.

The skies are beautiful - Mom did a great job with the photos.

There has to be some compensation for all those fires - to create something beautifurs out of the carnage... hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  9. Blogger just ate my comment!! What was with that??!!

But I was saying that we've had lots of 90 degree days too - It really has been a hot summer, and our dogs have been eating lots of ice every day!

Interesting photos of the sun that I agree are really cool - I didn't even think about what smoke would/could do to it.

  12. The fires are sure doing a number on sunsets and sunrises. Incredible. Stay safe and try to stay cool.

  13. The photos are so beautiful! We totally understand about the flowers. With our "extreme drought", most of our mom's flowers are dying out. It's been a tough growing year!
