Next month it will be 4 years since we lost our Greta
Our Dad likes to go hiking in the nearby hills and on one hike not too long after Greta so tragically left us,
he came home and told Mom about seeing some pretty little wildflowers and how they made him think of Greta.
He was sure it was a sign from her,
letting him know she was still here with us,
even if we could no longer see her
This last Saturday Dad went hiking
and when he returned home,
he got a baggie out of his pack
Dad had picked some little wildflowers and carefully put them in the baggie with a little water to bring home
"Look" he said to Mom
"I brought you some Greta flowers"
Mom gave Dad a big hug and shed some tears
But - It is a good day -
knowing our Angels are always with us
We are the PugRanch Kids
Hazel & Mabel
Oh my word...................what a beautiful beautiful post in honor of our Greta the Great...(I still always type Great when I mean Greta) and that is fine as it reminds me of her. Hazel and Mabel give Dad a treat for this lovely bag of wildflowers and give your sweet mom a nose tap from us. Yes indeed we love signs like this.
