Weather permitting, we go to agility practice on
Tuesday mornings and Thursday afternoons.
This Tuesday we had snow on the ground but the sky was clear and little to no wind. The temperature was a very brisk 20 degrees. Mom and I thought it would be good to get out of the house for some fun. The snow in the field was too crusty to run on so we set up a small course
under the pavilion.
The owner of the property sent this picture to his wife
(who is one of our training friends and an agility enthusiast)
Mom & I sat on the bench in between runs
to keep my feet from getting too cold.
We only stayed about 45 minutes
but it was great to get out in the fresh air!

what a super fab idea to have fun under this pavillon... we wish we had one too when we have the common ole rain ;O)

ReplyDeleteGrab every moment, eh Mabel?! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Even a short(ish) stay out in the air with friends is fabulous.
ReplyDeleteWow you are super brave to attend your practice session in those temperatures.
ReplyDeleteOhhhhh Mabel that looked pretty cold. Can you do your training in your booties?
ReplyDeleteAt least the sun was shining.
Hugs Cecilia
Oh Mabel, if I was there we could have snuggled in between sessions to stay warm!

We're supposed to get snow tomorrow, so maybe we'll get to have some fun too.
ReplyDeleteStay warm, and have fun, and take care too!!
Wow! That sounds like tons and tons of fun! It's snowing here today!
ReplyDeleteMy ghostwriter hates being outside in the cold for very long. I don't know what her problem is. I like the cold and snow we have right now.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like so much fun to me!
ReplyDeleteAs long as it isn't too cold, looks great.
ReplyDeleteYou and your mom are dedicated to doing great in agility. We think maybe you should find a place that has an indoor arena to work in the winter.
ReplyDeleteWe are proud of your commitment! We are cold weather wimps.
ReplyDeleteThose clear blue skies are pretty but sure make the snow that much colder. Way to stay competitive. Both you and your mom.
ReplyDeleteFun is good, but it looks so cold!

ReplyDeleteHazel, how are you feeling?

I think I would have stayed home in bed ~ 20 degrees is to cold. You know you can dream about agility why sometimes I can get my feet going so fast when I dream.
ReplyDeleteI keep Hazel in my prayers.
