Nature Friday

Two weeks ago we had a nice snow storm

It was pretty snow that came straight down
instead of blowing sideways as it usually does

Unfortunately we had some rain first
so it made the roads treacherous

On the other hand,
with Mom & Dad both retired,
 nobody had to go anywhere

Except outside to potty!
BOL!

On Monday I will tell you about the wonderful pressies
I received from my special guy Arty!

  1. We know all about that nasty and very dangerous ice! Mom loves her ice cleats and doesn't know how she lived without them for all of these years.

  2. That snow was pretty. Ours is all melted now so there was no white Christmas here. It's nice having retired pawrents so they don't fret about having to leave the house every day.

It has been too mild for snow to come to us. All just grey and dreary. Your views are so pretty and just right for the season! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  7. Snow like that is so pretty! It's nice to be able to just enjoy watching it, and not have to drive in it.

  10. We have been lucky, it rained a little yesterday, so things are a bit slippery and it is not too pretty now. But it hasn't been too cold. We are suppose to get a big storm Monday. Lady is suppose to go to work that day but will likely just work from home.

Arty is a great gift giver,

  15. Snow looks so beautiful when it is still clean an white. Why are people always complaining about the dead period between Christmas and the New Year? It’s complete bliss when you can stay home and not have to go out in bad weather.
