Checking In & A Birthday!

Hello Everyone!
We apologize for our long absence from Blogville.
We wanted to let you know we are all fine.
Mom & Dad's flooring project
(kitchen floor then new carpet and spring cleaning)
kept them so busy there was little time for the computer.

Then after 8 years cancer free,
Mom spent most of February dealing with the possibility
of having breast cancer for the second time.
Her yearly mammogram on Feb 4th
led to a biopsy performed on Feb 26th.
We are so thankful to tell you the results were benign!!

Most of our dog activities have been canceled for now
 due to COVID-19
We sure hope all of you and your peeps are staying well.

This is one of our last times out on St. Patrick's day!

Now guess who's birthday it is??

Hilda is one year old!!!!

Are you serious Mom??

At least you put it on the right way this time

Why didn't you just put it there in the first place!
Mom & Dad ordered some busy puzzles for my birthday but they haven't arrived yet, they will be so fun!

Dad has been building us some agility equipment so we will be able to practice at home as soon it is ready and the weather cooperates (we had a skiff of snow this morning)

We are praying for the world and hope we will all be able
to return to normal life in the future

Much love from
The PugRanch Kids
Mabel & Hilda

  2. Happy Birthday Hilda!
You've achieved so much already, can you really be just one year old.
We're sorry to learn that your Mom had a health scare, and so pleased the test results were benign. Now you all just need to stay safe and well through this latest scary business.

  3. So glad to read that everything turned out great. What a fright to go through and a good thing you got it resolved before so many procedures had to be cancelled because of coronavirus. Here a lot of people have had their chemo and radiation treatments cancelled. All experimental cancer tests have been cancelled here. Wash your paws. Happy Birthday Hilda.

  7. Whew - that's a great big sigh of relief for your Mom. That must have been a very difficult time for her. Mom and Dad are always worried about a reoccurence for our human sister too.

Happy birthday, Hilda - a year already - that is amazing.

  14. Happy happy barkday, Hilda! You're a real grown-up lady now. Don't worry, that doesn't mean you have to start acting serious. Sometimes our pawrents most need us NOT to be serious.

  15. Hilda Happy 1st barkday....I am so very very thankful that your sweet Mama's biopsy was benign...and she has no worries. Bless her heart. We are good here and trying our best to stay busy. Not too bad to be inside when it is dreary and cool but the sun is out today. Of course we can walk about the 'hood.

  17. Happy, happy birthday, sweet Hilda. You look all grown up now but we know you're still a puppy. What an awful time it must have been for your Mom waiting to find out if the cancer had returned. We are jumping up and down with joy that she is ok. I (Xena) can't go to Freestyle now either, and it is getting sooooo boring at home. Wait, I have to go attack Lucy again to see if she'll play. See ya! XOX Lucy and Xena
